Common questions

Do my customers need to download an app?

No. They scan the QR code, WhatsApp opens, they reply “yes”. No card to keep, no account to create.

I am not comfortable with tech. Is this for me?

Yes. If you can send a WhatsApp message, you can do everything. Settings, QR code and counter sign are on us.

Will I annoy my customers?

No. Only those who said yes get your offers: one offer a week at most, and never more than two a month per customer, between 10 am and 8 pm. STOP ends them, and sending stops on its own if STOP replies go above 5%.

What about the evening alert on unsold items?

It is separate. The customer asks for it by texting “evening” to the bot. You text “reste” followed by what you have left and your evening price: the bot alerts, within your time window, the regulars who asked for it and have not stopped by today, at most once per evening. If you give a number, they reply “basket” to reserve their share; at pickup you text “verifier” and their code, and they earn bonus points. “Stop evening” turns it off without touching their points or your offers. It is an add-on at $32 a month (tax included), no setup fee.

I already have a stamp card. Do my customers lose their stamps?

No. You write “reprise”, the number of stamps and the customer's number: the stamps become points, once per customer.

How are points counted?

The customer sends a photo of the receipt, or you write “ajouter” with the amount and their number. Receipt reading was tested on restaurant receipts: for your shop, we check it with your receipts before going live.

How much does it cost?

No commitment: $649 setup (tax included), then $142 a month, about $4.73 a day. 12-month commitment: $319 setup (tax included), then the same $142 a month. Same service either way. The evening alert on unsold items is an add-on: $32 a month (tax included), no setup fee, switched on whenever you like. 60-day money-back guarantee: not satisfied within 60 days, the setup fee is refunded, no conditions. Monthly usage fees start at go-live. See the price next to your loss.

I don't want to commit.

You choose. No commitment: $649 setup (tax included), then $142 a month, no minimum term. Or a 12-month commitment: $319 setup (tax included), then the same $142 a month. Same service, same 60-day guarantee. If another shop owner recommended us, the 3 free months add to either plan.

Does it work with my till?

The card is not connected to your till. The customer confirms their own purchase in WhatsApp, with a photo of the receipt or by typing the amount, and it works even without a receipt. Depending on your till, we check at setup whether a connection is possible, with no promise.

What about customers who do not use WhatsApp?

Most of your customers already have it, and there is nothing to download. For those who do not want it, nothing changes: you serve them as before.

I changed phones. Do I lose my Yums?

No. If you keep the same number, there is nothing to do: your card follows your number. If you have a new number, text “j'ai changé de numéro” (or “new number”) to the robot from the new phone, then give it your old number. It warns the old number: if nobody replies “NO” within 48 hours, your card moves to the new number with its Yums and history. There is nothing else to do, and the shop does nothing either. A card can be moved once a year. Are you the shop owner? Text “nouveau téléphone” to the robot: a single-use link, valid for 30 minutes, is sent to the email on your file. One click links your new phone and cuts the old one immediately.

I know a fellow merchant who would be interested. Is there something in it for me?

Yes. You write "parrain" to your assistant: it gives you a ready-made message that you forward yourself to your fellow merchant (we never write to someone who has not written to us). The shop that joins gets 3 months free, when they give us the name of the owner who recommended us. You get 1 month free per shop that joins, up to 12 months a year, once their 60-day guarantee has passed and their first payment is made. One referral per business (SIRET number in France, IDE in Switzerland), not combinable with a referrer commission. Tracking is not automatic yet: give us the name on the call.

Does the end-of-day leftovers alert work yet?

Not yet. The loyalty card and offers work today. The end-of-day alert is opening with a few pilot shops: it will ask your customers for a separate consent and use hours set for your trade.
